I'm 17 years old and I've lost every single strand of hope

This town carries curses by generation

We're all so torn up from infestation

But Heaven has stayed away, it's left me all alone



Sometimes this pain grows to a point that I just cannot control

And these winds tear the blood away from your veins and rip so hard at your soul

Too cold to live, but with no will to even lay and die

Grasping hard to any inch of hope that you can find



One can only take so much, can only keep that fire burning for so long

And here you'll never last, you'll never be able to stay strong

The sun never really shines and you'll never feel an inch of warmth

There's no point in escape, there is no hiding place, no eye of the storm
